OUR STORY


Blue Silo is a Cleveland food trailer serving tacos, breakfast tacos, and breakfast burritos made with ingredients sourced from Ohio farms we trust: pasture-raised meats and eggs, organic produce, and partners like Ohio City Provisions and Tierra Verde Farms who share our values. We value regenerative agriculture and sustainable farming, and supporting those practices is at the heart of everything we do. Good food starts with good farming, and we're proud to bring both to your plate.

The Beginning

The name ‘Blue Silo’ pays homage to Grant’s grandparent’s farm located in Putnam County, Ohio. The blue silos located on their farm are the landmarks of their property that has been in the family for over 100 years making it an Ohio Century Farm.

The Process

Many hours were spent completely gutting the used trailer we bought, deep cleaning the equipment, and rebuilding it. We give many thanks for the family and friends who helped us throughout this process as it was definitely a challenge, especially Mo’s dad who let us take up space in his shop for 4 months.

Opening Day

Our first “event” was at Grant’s brother’s house where friends and family gathered to support our trial run. We learned a lot that day and are extremely grateful for all those who attended.

Est. 2024

We hit the ground running in May of 2024, and did events all over Northeast Ohio almost every weekend. From Kent, to Lakewood, to downtown Cleveland, we were on the road showcasing what Blue Silo has to offer. We’ve done private events for graduation parties, employee luncheons, and bridal showers and are always looking for that next opportunity. Hope you follow us along on our journey!
